That Craft Place - Halloween

Hi everyone, it's challenge time once again over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog. I loved seeing all your pink creations last challenge. Now in complete opposite to pink and cute we have HALLOWEEN!!

We are also having a DT call on this challenge too! Check out the challenge blog for more details
I decided to not do a card for this one but instead show off some of the amazing things you can do with the Silhouette Cameo. Now I must apologise for the lack of effort in my photo I did intend to buy in some halloween sweets to add to the pics before I blogged this but time has a habit of passing me by and suddenly here we are! So onto my creations:

All the items here were cut on the Cameo using cut files from the Silhouette store. The coffin and four pots are all made from just one peice of card.

Apart from glue the only thing needed for all this was the Silhouette Cameo and cardstock! Really cool halloween decorations made really really easily.

Head back to That Craft Place challenge blog and check out all my fellow DT teamies inspirational pieces. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Hope you all have a great Halloween

Crafty Tuesday!

Hi Everyone, another wet and miserable day here in Barnsley today so what better way to spend my day off then crafting! If you follow my blog you will know that one thing I could not live without is my Silhouette Cameo. Well one of my facebook friends recently shared a link to a star cutting file over at Sandra's Scrapshop and I really wanted to give it a go. So I purchased the files from Sandra this morning (fantastic, quick service) and spent my day off work buried in my crafting. Here's what I came up with:

The image is James Bear Christmas Cracker from Lili Of The Valley. The cut file as I said was from Sandras Scrapshop, the swirls, tag, snowflakes and doily are cut files from the Silhouette store.

The image is coloured entirely with copics.

I am going to have to make a deep box to send this one in!

The papers used on the front and inside are Krafty Christmas from Lili of the Valley

The Silhouette Cameo and a range of accessories including gems, feathers and pins can be purchased from That Craft Place.

I really enjoyed making this project. Im not sure who is going to be receiving this one yet. Can you send yourself a Christmas card? I don't want to part with it lol.

All Dressed Up Inspiration post

Hi everyone, here's  todays inspiration post. I have used the super cute 'Sweetie Pie' image from All Dressed Up.
The card stepper base was cut on the Silhouette Cameo using Papermill Directs teal card. The backing paper is from First Edition paper pad called New Bloom. I used the text function on the cameo to cut the happy birthday and using the offset created a background for the words. I also cut some swirls and the happy and birthday are both 'hung' from the swirls. The image is coloured with copics (hair) and promarkers (everything else).
