Life Is A Fairytale

Hi everyone,

well I survived my first week in my new position at work and loved it! What I am loving more though is having a weekend with my little family! Today I did a bit of crafting and then we went for a long walk with the dogs to a place near us called Rabbit Ings Country Park. Beautiful area for walking the dogs. Its very steep in places though and I am no fit chick! But I made it right to the top and though I don't normally allow any photos of me I was that happy to have made it I really didn't care that my daughter stuck a camera in my face. Here are a few of our photos for those of you who dont have me on facebook (and why not???) can have a peek.

So after our long walk we came home and the kids disappeared up on the xbox and so I retreated back to the craft desk. And here is what I made...

The image is Breena Fairy from Scrapper's Delights. Breena is on offer at the moment for just $1!
The papers are also from Scrapper's Delights - Pretty In Pink pack. As well as using the spotty paper, I used the fill tool on the cameo to fill the circle with another of the Pretty in Pink papers and again to fill the sentiment with yet another of the PIP papers.
The sentiment is actually a cut file from the Cameo store. I removed the cut line and set it to 'no-cut' and then filled it with colour and printed.
The rose ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts
The metal corners are from Dawn till Dusk Crafts
Pearls and the glittery heart are from my stash.
I used lots of Stampendous Frantage (Shabby White) on the image and also on the Precious Hearts Memory Box dies.

The image is coloured with Copics:
Skin: E11, E21, E00, E000
Hair, E27, E07, R24
Dress and Shoes: R83, R81, RV10
Wings: RV10, RV000, RV0000
I glittered up with image with a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts

I hope you have enjoyed this post and can pop back tomorrow for a new challenge over at That Craft Place.

Charisma Cardz Challenge - Purple & Blue

Hi everyone,

It is time for a new challenge over at Charisma Cardz Challenges. Unfortunately this is my last DT card for Charisma. I have a new position at work and life is going to be a little hectic for a while. I finally have weekends to spend with my family and until things are settled I'm not sure how much crafting time I am going to have so I have stepped down from 5 of my 7 DTs.

Anyway on with the challenge. The theme is PURPLE & BLUE!  Two of my favourite colours. Here is my card

The star border and writing is cut on the Cameo.
The papers are from Bake Sale pack from Squiggle Dot Designs on Etsy.
The image is coloured with copics.

Head back over to Charisma Cardz Challenge blog now for details on how to enter and also check out the other DT projects.

It's Dr Digi Day

Hi everyone

It is Dr Digi Thursday and this week I decided to go a little out of season and make a Halloween card. Well, if we can have Christmas in July why can't we have Halloween in April? Ok Ok I know it's not the same but well when I received this image I had an idea immediately what to do with it.

The paper is Happy Haunting Patters from the Silhouette Store.
As always the card base and all shapes are cut on the Cameo.

The image is coloured with Copics.

See you next Thursday with another card from Dr Digi

Ditzie Digi Designs

Hi everyone,

It's time for a new challenge over at Ditzie Digi Designs, first though some sad news. This will be my last DT card for Ditzie Digi Designs. I am stepping down from the DT as I have had a change in my situation at work and at the moment until I settle into my new role I do not know how much time I will have free for crafting. I am keeping 2 of my DTs so don't worry I wont be disappearing altogether but I will have 5 less DTs to have to worry about.

Anyway on with this challenge. Our theme as always is Anything Goes  and here is my DT card.

The image is from the Ditzie Digi Designs Etsy store called Baggy Trousers
The papers are from the Cameo fill patterns
The card base and all shapes and writing are cut on the cameo too.

For those of you, who like me, didn't have a clue what YOLO means its 'young uns' talk for You Only Live Once. My daughter and niece say it all the time and drives me nuts!

The image is coloured entirely with Copics

Scrappers Delights certainly delight!

Hi everyone,

I have two posts for you today. Yesterday, my sister Julie from Cuddle's Crafty Corner came over and we had a good 6 hours crafting together. This is the first of the cards I made. Check back later for the second one.

While browsing Facebook I saw a card someone had made using a digi from Scrappers Delight. This is a company I haven't used before so off I went to look in the store. WOW! Right up my street. Gorgeous images and the papers are to die for! Papers were all added to my basket along with a couple of images including this little beauty......

The card base, oval shape, 'Mr & Mrs' & 'Congrats!' are all cut on the Cameo using cut files from the Silhouette Store
The lace and pearl swirls are from That Craft Place

The image is coloured with Copics.
My favourite embellishment! FLOWERS! I love flowers on cards. Which is ironic as I don't like real flowers.
Most of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts:

Hope you can pop back in a little while to have a look at my other card I made yesterday :)

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
ABC Challenge - Just as you like it
Cards Galore Encore - Favourite Colour (Purple)
Wild Orchid Crafts - 3 Different Flowers

It's Dr. Digi Day

Hi everyone,

It's my turn to host over on the Dr Digi blog again and today I am working with a fab image called That's Tragic!

The image is available from HERE, and the papers, also Dr Digis, are available from HERE
I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the writing, stars, border and the fussy cut the image.

The image is coloured entirely with Copics.

Hope to see you again next Thursday and don't forget to check out the Dr Digi Blog every day for other great inspirational pieces from the rest of the DT.

All Dressed Up - Spring Colours

Hi everyone,

It's time for another challenge over at All Dressed Up

Our theme this time is Spring colours. We want to see   beautiful spring colours used on your cards/projects.

This time I opted to make something other then a card. I seem to be getting a rather large store of made cards now so wanted to make something else. I was in a local craft shop  Home Farm Crafts

and having a rummage through Andrea's sale bin I came across a beautiful frame for £1. I bought it and immediately thought of using it for this challenges DT project. Here is what I came up with!

The flowers are a mixtire from Home Farm Crafts, Wild Orchid Crafts and Country Baskets.
The pearls are from That Craft Place and the butterflies are laser cuts by Dutch Doobadoo, also sold at That Craft Place.

The image is coloured with Copics and I added some Clear Star Sakura pen to add a little sparkle.

Head back over to All Dressed Up blog now to check out the other DT ladies projects and to add your own entry.
