Last Card of 2017

Hi everyone

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Are you all doing anything exciting for New Year tonight? I am off to my sisters for a big family party but before I go get ready I just wanted to quickly blog my last card of 2017. Looking back I haven't blogged that many cards this year and a few months ago I was seriously thinking of closing my blog down. Does anyone bother with blogs anymore. Then I thought about it and realised that I love my blog. I love looking back and seeing how my crafting has progressed through the years and all the memories that go with each and every card. So my New Years Resolution is to get back into what I love - crafting for me, not because I want to be like someone else or because I think I should be using XXX products because everyone else thinks they are cool.

Anyway onto my last card of 2017. It was so nice to make a non-Christmas card and to get back out all the flowers and lace etc.

The credit for the layout of this card goes to Kim Piggot. I saw Kim's card on Pinterest and loved the design. I asked Kim if she would mind me recreating the layout. You can see Kims card HERE. Thank you Kim.

Sad day and fond farewell :(

Hi everyone

Today is a very sad day for pink fans like me. Today's challenge over at In The Pink Challenge Blog is to be the last. The doors on the pink palace are closing after this challenge.

I want to say a huge thank you to Rizzo (Christine) for having me on the team of Pink Ladies (on more than one DT Term) You have been a pleasure to 'work' for and I know we will remain friends in cyberland.

Please pop along and join us in our last challenge.

Our theme this week is Christmas.

This gorgeous cutie is one of the super cute images over at C. C. Designs
